I have been in the cannabis industry since it was just a small group of people working together to change the laws around Cannabis Hemp.
1984 I started growing my own cannabis after battling cancer nine times.
1994 I met Jack Herer and became an editor of his book; The Emperor Wears No Clothes. I traveled with him through America and Europe teaching people about the history of cannabis hemp.
1995 Jack Herer and I wrote the Hemp & Health Initiative.
1998 & 1999 I was part of Spitfire Tour, we were a group of musicians, actors and activists, touring colleges and speaking about about social change. I even had the honor to open Woodstock 1999 and talk about cannabis legalization.
Please feel free to join my network of friends who all share the common interest of cannabis.
Back in 2005, some friends and I collaborated to make a documentary that would educate people about cannabis/hemp/marijuana. I hope you enjoy it.
After the success of The Union: The Business Behind Getting High, we set out to make a film that would transform the way people viewed the prohibition of cannabis and advocated for full legalization.
With the help of the cannabis community through Kiskstarter, we raised over $240,000.00 to make the film an amazing success. Launched in October 2014, by Richard Branson, the film was translated into 15 languages and shown in over 70 countries for three years on NetFlix.
Cannabis prohibition is a worldwide problem, it is a burden to society and must be ended.
In 1993 I first read Jack Herer's book; The Emperor Wears No Clothes and my worldview was forever changed. In 1994 Jack and I became friends and traveled the world teaching people about cannabis history.
This documentary about Jack Herer was made in 1997/1998, by funding from Anita Roddick, founder of The Body Shop, and a woman who was way ahead of her time. She credited her understanding of hempseed oil and her use of it in her products to her reading Jack's book.
I highly recommend this documentary:
